Fresh Local Sandwiches in Kaimuki|Sprout Honolulu

Sprout is a locally owned sandwich shop serving fresh, handcrafted sandwiches in Kaimukī, Honolulu since 2014. We are proud to be part of the local Hawaiʻi food community, offering simple, honest food made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.

 

With more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, co-owners and longtime friends Stephanie Leonard and Steven Ashcraft created Sprout with a clear mission: to build a neighborhood sandwich shop that supports a variety of dietary needs while serving delicious food the whole family can enjoy.

 

Located in a cozy, hole-in-the-wall space in Kaimukī, Sprout specializes in toasted sandwiches made fresh daily. Our menu highlights local Hawaiʻi ingredients whenever possible, including crisp green leaf lettuce, Waialua clover sprouts, exceptional Oʻahu-grown tomatoes, and our well-known house-made pickled onions.

 

All of our menu items are made from scratch daily using simple, wholesome ingredients—no shortcuts, just fresh food you can feel good about eating.

 

Due to our small space, Sprout currently offers take-out only in Honolulu. We are committed to sustainability and use compostable take-out packaging made from renewable resources.
