About Sprout

Sprout has been preparing tasty fresh sandwiches to the locals of Oahu since 2014! 


After 20+ years in the food and beverage industry, Co-owners and friends Stephanie Leonard and Steven Ashcraft ventured into a partnership together.  Our goal was to create a small shop that could feed the dietary needs of all who visited. 

We found the perfect hole-in-the wall space in Kaimuki, Honolulu, and got to work creating hand-crafted, toasted sandwiches prepared with the freshest ingredients that the whole family will enjoy.


Our menu is formed around local ingredients that we can source in Hawaii.  All of our menu items are made daily from scratch & with simple, wholesome ingredients.

Our sandwiches have highlights of Maui Butter lettuce, Waialua sprouts, exceptional tomatoes from here on Oahu, our famous pickled onions and much more. 

Due to the recent Covid-19 outbreak on the islands we are only offering online or in-store ordering for takeout. We have restricted all dine-in service at this time.


Our location is certified ocean-friendly with the Oahu Surfrider Foundation. We say NO to styrofoam! Our take away products are compostable & made from renewable resources.
